Availability
If an item is in stock, the words "In stock" will be shown. If an item is out of stock, the approximate number of days before we get another delivery will be shown instead. You may still be able to order the item, but there will be a delay before we can dispatch your item(s). If the words "Please enquire" are shown, it's best to check with us first before ordering.
Nib choices for fountain pens
If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.

Namiki Blue is a lovely ink. It's not a "boutique ink", such as that to be found in the Pilot Iroshizuku range. It's also not the same ink as that found in Pilot blue cartridges, even though they share the same parent company. Bottled Namiki ink is very well behaved, intended for everyday use, and likely to be safe to use in any type of fountain pen.
In terms of its behaviour, it reminds me a little of the highly thought of Aurora Blue, though a little less saturated. It is unlike Aurora blue, and blue inks in general regarding one very important property. Reviewers testing for water-resistance expected the ink to disappear at the first sign of water, and we're surprised to discover that Namiki Blue is waterproof.
So an everyday, high quality, well-behaved blue ink, safe for use in almost any pen, and waterproof. The price of this ink is also very reasonable. It will become one of my regular inks.
I'd happily recommended this ink to anyone.
