I have purchased a few fountain pens from The Writing Desk and the service has been excellent. The nibs have all been tuned to perfection and the only problem that I have had, was quickly dealt with in a professional manner. I ordered this year's Pilot Capless limited edition through The Writing Desk, having seen wonderful reviews online. Anna put my mind at ease answering a few questions by email in advance, and upon arrival everything was perfect - well packaged, flawless out of the box, and including the testing sheet that had been used to check the nib. I've had the pen a week now and thoroughly love both it and the considerate and low-stress service I got in buying it. I'll definitely be back!

I used ChatGPT 4 and Perplexity to narrow down suggestions for a new fountain pen. Both recommended the Pelikan Souveran fountain pen. After searching for Pelikan Souveran M1000 suppliers online, I found The Writing Desk website. The Writing Desk offered the best value for money compared to its competitors. Their customer service exceeded their value-for-money offering. When I received my next-day delivery, the Pelikan case was well-protected with heavy-duty corrugated paper inside a securely taped cardboard box. Other fountain pens I've bought from different suppliers never had this level of protection. My experience with The Writing Desk website was stress-free and enjoyable. They will be my go-to supplier for further fountain pens, and I highly recommend them.

I encountered a bit of a problem when ordering online but Anna sorted out the issue quickly in response to my message and I was able to buy a new nib. As usual the nib was tuned to perfection and the packing and delivery were exemplary. A truly helpful and professional company.

The Writing Desk is a thoroughly professional company that I have always had very good service from, orders are processed very quickly, and the correct procedure is adhered to regarding VAT to a EU country, which is not a thing that is often observed by lesser organisations. Anna and Martin are incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful. I have asked for advice on choosing a nib and have had a nib customised. In both cases, the level of service I received was exemplary. They also dispatch promptly. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found The Writing Desk. A recent clear out unearthed several old, but beautiful, fountain pens that I have had for years. They were all completely clogged up with ink and no amount of soaking got them working again. There are so few companies servicing fountain pens these days and, miraculously, The Writing Desk is quite local to me! They have done a wonderful job of cleaning and repairing my pens. I'm truly delighted.
