Just bought yet another Lamy Safari fountain pen, this time it's the 41 Terra Special Edition. I could have bought this from a number of other places, but none of them stock the wonderful De Atramentis Document Inks to go with the pen. I like to colour code the pens to go with the colour of the ink and the 'Terra' is quite a good match for the Urban Sienna. Both pen and ink are superb for ink and wash drawings.

I've bought fountain pens, bottled ink, and miscellaneous accessories from The Writing Desk since 2002 and in every single transaction from then onwards the service has been outstanding. Prices are competitive, descriptions on the website are accurate, and orders are swiftly dispatched, with all items, regardless of shape or size, being extremely well packed. I can't imagine that it's possible to get better service than this.

Brilliant! I had a 1920s Waterman pen I bought 25 years ago in Paris, beautiful to look at, but it leaked ink all over my fingers. I entrusted it to The Writing Desk for repair. Martin of The Writing Desk has now repaired it and it is fully functional, doesn't leak and is all new-looking. I am delighted! The whole interaction with The Writing Desk was a pleasure.
