But this is no surprise: after ten years I have always been impressed with not only the efficient ordering system and the wide choice of all things pen-related but also with the advice about repairs, nib testing, parts sourcing etc that is cheerfully given. I’ve been a customer for well over 10 years and I love The Writing Desk. They have bent over backwards to provide me with their display model after stock has run out, have changed the nibs to ones I prefer etc. Their nib testing and tuning for Conklin Omniflex pens is really great. Only ever had a problem with two orders - one was a dented lid I could not open and not a fault of the company but probably the manufacturer: they issued another immediately without question. They also once sent the wrong ink because of near-identical boxes and a minor difference in product name. Again, fixed instantly, they could not have been more helpful. The true value of a company I feel always shows when something goes wrong and how well they rectify it and in that sense, The Writing Desk are amazing.
