I have bought several pens from The Writing Desk and I rate their service very highly. My first pen was a Lamy Safari that I bought in 2012 for myself and I've also bought some more Lamy pens since, one for my friend and one for my sister. My most recent purchase was a Kaweco Classic Sport with an extra fine nib. I bought it with this nib as I wanted a pen fine enough to write Chinese characters. In Taiwan and China it's easy to buy cheap gel pens with fine enough nibs to write Chinese characters clearly but I've found them hard to find since I returned in the UK. This extra fine nib has been the perfect solution as I can now write Chinese neatly without smudging. I realise this is a need that few other customers may have, but it was just what I was looking for. Thanks again for your excellent service. Free first class postage on pens is a lovely bonus too.

Just the wax cap from my J.Herbin 1670 ink well had a small crack, but that could have happened during manufacturing at J.Herbin.
