The fountain pen arrived in roughly two weeks in perfect condition as described. The online transaction was as smooth as butter! Even with the overseas shipping, the cost just simply could not be beat by anything locally. I don't know how on earth they do it but I'm super grateful! I'm not talking a small difference either. It must've been a whopping 50-60% difference! Are you guys hijacking fountain pen deliveries and unloading crates of their pens?! This morning the package carrying my Parker fountain pen arrived. As always it came with careful wrap and cover. Martin performed meticulous check and adjustment for the nib to ensure the immediate use of the pen. What made this experience of the purchase special was a the help provided by The Writing Desk when slight delay of delivery occurred caused by postal service. The Writing Desk dispatched the pen promptly once Martin serviced the pen, but I was anxious about the ten-day delay of the postal service. I e-mailed Anna, and her quick response and kind double-checking with Royal Mail and its counterpart in Taiwan really impressed me.
