Fabulous service! I ordered a TWSBI Eco in Blosson Red and some inks. Unfortunately I made a mistake in the order and selected Fine instead of Medium nib. I contacted the Writing Desk team and they were kind enough to change the order before it was despatched. They could not have been nicer. I am so pleased with pen, which arrived very promptly and in perfect condition. Most of all, wonderful customer service.

Very happy with the helpful service and the pen.Less happy about the non-recyclable plastic box it came in and the bubble wrap. There are secure ways of avoiding this. Perhaps next time?

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we are always keen to improve where we can. We currently use green bubblewrap which is made partly from recycled material and is itself fully recyclable but we are always looking for new ways to balance protecting customer orders and the environment. Yes, the TWSBI Classic does come in a plastic box and this can be put use as a very handy pencil case. We are happy to send pens without presentation boxes on request.

I came across The Writing Desk website by chance and was impressed by the page design and layout and by the easy navigation. I had never heard of Edison pens before, but the lovely picture of the Edison Collier Persimmon Swirl on the homepage caught my eye. I received it within two days of placing my order. I'm very pleased with the efficient service and the pen itself.

The Writing Desk is my first port of call for anything to do with handwriting. I was very pleased to be able to buy the larger size sheets of Herbin pink blotting paper here, as it seems to be scarce and hard to find. As usual, excellent service and speedy delivery. Now to decide on my next Edison pen.

I visited the shop on Wednesday and settled on a Kaweco sport fountain pen for journals and travelling. It’s a lovely pen and it’s better if you can go to the shop to try out and compare. I later ordered an eco pouch for it online- arrived by return of post! My new favourite shop!
